Born in Bucaramanga, Santander, in the Republic of Colombia on July 4, 1956, received a Bachelor of the College of the Holy Trinity (Franciscan Tertiary of Bucaramanga), and then as a sociologist, dedicating his life to practicing in Teaching Universidad Autonoma de Bucaramanga-UNAB-(Sociology of Law and Criminology), Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia-UCC-(Comparative Education Development Theory and Social Issues Colombia), Universidad Industrial de Santander-UIS-(Sociology of Law, Theory Socialization, Colombian Social Problems, Methodology), Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, UPB-(Social Institutions, Research Methodology, Oral and Written Expression, Cultural Anthropology, Universitología), for which they received as a Research and Teaching Specialist University. In 1995, a result of an Open Training Program for Teachers, is linked to Oil Painting classes with Master Toledo Christian who leads and follows to delve into the ways of art, although it had a history of painting in fabric and ceramics, is devoted entirely to the Oil with emphasis on the spatula, which handles masterfully. Since then he has taken several courses in painting techniques and has several workshops with various artists from the Department of Santander and Colombia. Today the painting fills his leisure hours of university teaching and his works are highly appreciated by his countrymen. He has participated in several exhibitions locally, but that is not their primary objective.

Today, a result of his experience as a survivor of Breast Cancer, has decided to allocate 25% of the total value received for the sale of their works for the Foundation Living Hope of the City of Bucaramanga, nonprofit organization that supports cancer victims in this region of Colombia.
